Welcome Old West action-adventure fans! You have come to the right place, so let’s talk all about Westerns!
My second book, The Preacher, is almost done! One more chapter to go…details to follow later.
Who is your favorite Western character of all time? What is your all-time top 10 favorite Western novels? Do you have any interesting thoughts and insights on Westerns? Feel free to share.
Thanks, Jon.
In my books I try to make sure that all the details are historically accurate. Even though I write fiction, I like to pretend that the story really could have happened. The weapons, clothes, and places are accurate to the time of the story. I enjoy history, especially American history, and I try to reflect that in my writing. Living in New Mexico gives me the opportunity to see first hand the country that I am writing about. The entire “Four Corners” area is facinating with its diversity in landscape, culture, and history. I enjoy finding and exploring ancient Indian ruins, old mineshafts, and hiking the great mountain trails in New Mexico and Colorado.
What interests me right now?
I love the old western movies. Has anyone found a site that shows them? I found some on ceedtv. My favorite movie is Painted Desert if anyone has ever seen it. For those that are interested it is at:

I would be interested in anyone else who knows where you can find westerns. They have to be old though…the new ones dont have much story.
